Equipment - Model 50 Polymer Injection System
The Clearwater Industries Model 50 Polymer Injection System is designed
to make down dry polymers that will rapidly settle suspended solids out of
wastewater. The Model 50 is a low-budget, but very effective, way to properly
wet dry polymers and pump the solution either to the process or to a customer-supplied
aging vessel. The Model 50 will deliver a continuous water/polymer solution
ranging from 1/3 pound per hour up to 34 pounds per hour. These systems are
very cost effective, and are used to:
- Rapidly flock out solids in the first settling ponds
- Convert existing
liquid polymer systems to dry feed systems
Features:
- Compact unit with hopper at good height for easy loading of polymer
- Small
design fits easily inside existing tool sheds or trailers
- Can be "up
and running" 15 minutes after delivery
- Stainless Steel 110 lb. Hopper
(200 lb. Hopper optional)
- Variable speed screw feeder with solid shaft auger
- Stainless steel wetting
funnel with fully washed sides effectively wets and disperses polymer
- Progressive
cavity polymer disbrsement pump. Variable speed DC motor drives pump. Maximum
pump delivery is 15 gpm
- 3/4" stainless steel Static Mixer on pump discharge
- 1-1/2" square
steel framework painted with Aliphatic Urethane Epoxy paint, which yields
a high chemically resistant finish that fades little under UV rays
Utilities:
- One 115-volt plug supplies power to two DC motors
- One-point clean water
hook-up, 3/4" line at 25 to 80 psi
Dimensions:
- Framework is 27"(W) x 45"(L) x 55"(H)
- Approximate shipping
weight 200 lbs.
