Equipment - Model 511 Flocculant Make Down System 
The Clearwater Industries Model 511 Flocculant Make Down System like the Model 522 is designed to prepare two distinct chemicals. It differs in that it delivers two emulsions as opposed to two dry polymers. It splits the 817 gallon tank into two mixing and aging areas each with its own neat chemical piston pump, mixing shaft, and props as well as a 0-15 gpm disbursement pump. This machine is ideal for:
- Moderate to small applications that require two distinct liquid chemicals
- Belt Presses and Clarifiers
Features:
- Can be "up and running" 1 hour after unloading
- Solution without the formation of "fish-eyes"
- Two 1" piston pumps to deliver neat emulsions
- Two stainless steel mixers with 10" stainless steel props
- Low water pressure protection
- Fully automatic, continuous batching operation
- Two progressive cavity polymer disbursement pump. Variable speed pump drives with 4-20 mA input. Maximum pump delivery is 15 gpm
- Tank is constructed of rugged 1/2" polypropylene triple welded inside and out and is capable of holding 817 gallons of solution
- 3" square steel framework painted with aliphatic urethane epoxy paint, which yields a high chemically resistant finish that fades little under UV rays
- Single tank split design with internal baffle and weir is a simple design that assures proper mixing and aging of polymer
- Hand/Off/Auto switches provide manual or automatic sequencing
Optional Features:
- Allen Bradley Panel View display allows the controller push button controlling options
- Wedgewood Auto Floc Controller adjusts polymer dosage depending on solid content in wastewater
- Multi-gang manifold allows polymer solution to be pumped to several different locations
- Remote speed pot allows controller to adjust polymer pump speeds while away from the unit
Utilities:
- One point electrical hook-up, 460/230 volt 3-phase, or 240/120 volt single phase. Customer to specify
- One point clean water hook-up, 1-1/4" line at 25 to 80 psi
